Drive a Rally Car on a gravel course.
You must arrive at the location at least 30 minutes before your start time. At most locations you will spend time in the classroom to learn safety issues and rally technique, (at Kenilworth the classroom instruction is replaced by an instructor-driven demonstration lap) then will take to the track for your driving session (driving time varies with location). The day ends with a presentation of certificates and debriefing. Your experience will last approximately 2 hours in total. This course will go ahead in any weather. At the Kenilworth location the experience takes place on a tarmac track.
Everything about this experience was really good. The cars, the instructors, the speed, everything was perfect. I would love the chance to do this again and I have already recommended it to lots of my friends.
A rally driving experience certainly wasn’t the first thing I expecting to get for my Birthday and not being a rally fan I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. However this turned out to be one of the best presents I have ever received, and I can’t wait for a chance to try out one of the extended experiences. The rush you get from throwing the car round the course was only beaten by the passenger ride at the end of the day which really showed off the car’s true potential.
The rally driving taster experience is a must try experience in my opinion. I had always wanted the chance to thrash a rally car round a dirt course and this certainly lived up to my expectations.
I had the best time at my rally experience day. The weather was a little wet so the ground was nice a slippy. The guys taking the day were excellent. I smiled from beginning to end.
I had an AMAZING rally experience– we were very lucky with the weather, it stayed dry for the whole time we were there! To be honest– I wouldn’t have been bothered if it did rain, because then we would have just been sliding around a lot more (which looks exciting!!!)... There were 12 people in total (friends and family were allowed to watch) and we got split into 3 groups of 4– there were 4 professional instructors on the site. The best thing about this particular company was that you got to drive not just one car, but 3 cars in total: Peugeot 106 / BMW (3 series) / Subaru Impreza. They also like to get you in the cars pretty much straight away and learn everything while you’re driving them, rather than spending most of your time talking in a classroom. ... I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would absolutely love to do it again!!!! The instructors were very friendly and I would recommend them to other rally adrenalin junkies! My favourite car was the Subaru Impreza – just hearing the power in the engine was sooooo exciting!!
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Available on Sun- Tues in Shropshire, Fri-Sun in Worcestershire, Tuesdays only in Essex, Mon-Fri in Yorkshire. You are advised to book at least four weeks in advance. Spectators are welcome. At the Oxfordshire location a maximum of 2 spectators per driver are permitted; spectators must be aged 11 years or over and those aged 11-16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult- (additional spectators maybe pre-booked subject to availability and a small charge). You are advised to wear comfortable clothing and soft soled shoes. Maximum height is 6'4'' (6'6'' at the Oxfordshire location), minimum height is 5'0''. Maximum weight is 18 stone (16 stone at the Oxfordshire location). Please note that you should make the staff aware of any medical or fitness problems prior to the event. You will be required to provide a full, valid driving licence on the day. Due to the nature of this experience pets are not allowed. Should you arrive late and miss the safety briefing you may not be permitted to drive.
